Rent Stabilization and Just Cause Evictions

At the November 2, 2022 Fairfax Town Council meeting, the Town Council adopted two ordinances to create a just cause eviction and rent stabilization program. Although these new ordinances are in effect, their provisions will not be implemented until sufficient agreements for support have been approved by the Town Council. Upon approval, the Council will set an implementation date by resolution.
