Boards and Commissions

Have a voice in your town government – join a board, committee, or commission!

Town boards and commissions provide advice to the Town Council, and the important work they do ensures community participation in the decision-making process. Boards and Committees hold regular meetings, which are open to the public. You can find the current and archived agendas on the Public Meetings page. To learn a more about each group, use the menu at the left.

Serving on a board or committee is a rewarding way to get involved in and serve your community, as well as make new friends. Each year, the Town Clerk posts a list of current members and their terms. Interested residents are encouraged to apply for the expiring terms. Please contact the Town Clerk Michele Gardner at mgardner@townoffairfax.org if you have questions.
