This Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) evaluates the potential impacts of the proposed Fairfax Housing Element Update.
The Housing Element is both a policy document and an implementation tool for implementing the Town’s General Plan. An EIR is intended to inform decision-makers and the general public about the potential significant environmental impacts of the Housing Element and considers ways to reduce impacts. This EIR represents the Town’s best effort to evaluate the implementation and buildout of the Housing Element through its horizon year of 2031.

On November 10, 2023, any public comments that have been submitted will be collected and responded to in the Final EIR document.
