Partial Implementation for the Rent Stabilization Program

The Town Council received a presentation from Planning and Building Services Director Jeff Beiswenger and Town Attorney Janet Coleson regarding an option to partially implement the Rent Stabilization program. The discussion included the consideration of a resolution for an introductory registration system and telephone information line, as well as an ordinance to amend Chapter 5.55 (Rent Stabilization Program) of the Town Code to provide for an interim $1000 petition fee to cover the cost of providing a hearing conducted by a hearing examiner.
