At the May 3 Regular Town Council meeting, the Dyett & Bhatia Project Manager, Andrew Hill, presented a summary of public comments on the Public Review Draft Sixth Cycle Housing Element. The presentation also included:
- Recap of the Housing Element process
- Legal requirements associated with the Housing Element process
- Potential sites and strategies
The Town Council listened to public comment, provided feedback and direction to staff, and authorized the Town Manager to send the updated Draft Sixth Cycle Housing Element incorporating noted changes to the California Housing and Community Development Department (HCD).
The Housing Element Draft ready for Public Review was released to the community on March 31, 2023 for the legally-required 30-day local review period.
