The Town of Fairfax is pleased to announce that Sean Youra will be joining our staff as our Climate Action Coordinator. This exciting new position is shared 50/50 with the Town of San Anselmo.
Sean is a recent graduate from John Hopkins University where he received his Master of Science Degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy. Sean received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Cal Poly in Biomedical Engineering. Sean also completed online courses at the University of Wisconsin and Penn State including classes in Solar Resource Assessment and Economics, Solar Project Development and Finance, Power Electronic Circuits, and Electromechanical Energy Conversion.
Sean has been actively working with the County partners in his role as Project Manager for the San Rafael City Schools in his position as Climate Corps Fellow: Energy & Environmental Associate.
Sean will be working both in San Anselmo and Fairfax. Please join us in welcoming Sean to our staff!
