Holiday Wreathmaking is Going Virtual This Year
One of the Fairfax Volunteers favorite events, the Annual Holiday Wreathmaking/Caroling/Potluck has had to be adjusted due to COVID-19 and restrictions on large gatherings. This year, we will distribute wreathmaking kits to families in advance of the event.
Please reserve one by e-mailing mbaird@townoffairfax.org. Maria will bring the wreathmaking kits which will consist of a wreath ring, ribbons, decorations, and a “Special Surprise gift” out to your car, on Park Road, near Peri Park. Please contact her early as only 100 kits will be available.
Then, we will host a virtual event via Zoom  (the Zoom info will be posted closer to the event date).  As part of the gathering, Georgia Gibbs, Artist-in-Resident, and one of our Board members will demonstrate how to make a wreath via Youtube. We are happy to keep this tradition alive, albeit it with changes by offering it remotely this year.
