Current Town Budget
The Town prepares an annual budget with the combined effort of department heads, the Finance Department and Town Manager usually at the beginning of May each year. This Draft Budget is reviewed by the council and discussed and revised in public budget sessions, resulting in a Proposed budget for the upcoming year. The Proposed budget is discussed and adopted in public hearings in regularly scheduled Council meetings. The Adopted budget document is published after the Council has adopted the budget, usually in July or August.
