The roadway repair and retaining wall project on Bolinas Road at milepost 1.34 is nearing completion and is on schedule for wrapping up in early November.
Please be aware that upcoming construction activities will require the road to be closed for two days: October 12 and 13, from 8:30AM to 3:30PM. County staff will be on location to ensure that the road reopens on time, with the exception of unavoidable delays due to active emergency services access.
The scheduled work includes regrading and paving of the road along the length of the new retaining wall. The closure location will be at the current construction work zone. No traffic will be allowed through the work zone, so please use alternative routes during that timeframe.
As is standard operating protocol, emergency service vehicles will be provided access. If you have an emergency, please dial 911. Thank you for your patience and understanding while this important project takes place.
Once the paving work is finished, there will be more construction as the guardrail and other components of the construction are completed.
