Neighborhood Response Groups of Fairfax

Who We Are

The NRG- Neighborhood Response Group program in Fairfax is a grassroots, volunteer-driven initiative designed to assist residents to prepare for, respond to, and recover in the event of an emergency such as a pandemic, major earthquake, flood, or PG&E Public Safety Power Shut-off (PSPS). NRG-Neighborhood Response Groups, led by block captains, create important community ties, with neighbors helping neighbors to ensure no one is overlooked in the event of a disaster.

If you would like to learn more about how neighbors can work together on emergency preparedness and/or if you are  interested in becoming a block captain for your neighborhood, please send an email to nrg@townoffairfax.org or complete the form below and you will be contacted by Amy Flynn.
